TOFU IN THE UK

It is 32nd day of life in the UK.
It is cold wind and high temperatures will be 5 degrees and low will be -1 degrees today.

So I am not going out today.

It was sunny and I went to a near grocery store, waitrose yesterday.

I often use waitrose and Sainsbury’s.

I found 'TOFU' at waitrose and I bought it.

TOFU is well-known traditional food in Japan.

It is made from soybeans and very nutritious.

It costs £1.99 ( \290), it's little expensive in the UK.

I was also surprised this package picture!!

This texture is harder than Japanese but it tastes good.

I cooked salad of Tofu , tomato and avocado with olive oil and soysouce yesterday.

Besides I will cook Miso soup with Tofu and brown seaweed today.

There are a lot of Japanese food ,  soba, udon, miso, sushi rice, dried laver seaweed, and maki sudare (a kitchen tool used for making rolled sushi and wrapping rice with dried seaweed).

I am so happy to find them !!

However I have never cook rolled sushi by myself.

I can feel Japanese sushi and food which became popular in abroad.

This nigiri sushi was good too.

I'd like to try and enjoy many Japanese food in this country.

Please try them out for yourself !!

Blog in Japanese site is here.
